Everyone Can’t Go To The Ball

Hey everyone,

The ball. A big fancy affair. Plenty of people. Music. Dancing. Food. Fancy outfits.

Remember the story Cinderella? She wanted to go to the ball so badly so that she may have a chance to meet the prince, but her stepmother told her no and her stepsisters found it hilarious that they could go but Cinderella could not. So Cinderella stayed behind and did the work that was required of her. She cried…oh she cried. However, even in her sadness she didn’t protest and say, “I will not do my work.” Nope, Cinderella did the work that was required of her. She worked so hard and guess what…SOMEONE WAS WATCHING OVER HER. Yup, her (fairy) GOD (mother) was watching her the whole time from behind the scenes. She assured Cinderella that once she completed her work she would be able to go. And you know what…SHE KEPT HER WORD! Cinderella was able to attend the ball, travel in style (I will blog about this subject soon), dance (with the prince :-)   ) and marry him! Now how do you like that. All she wanted was to go to the ball, but she received EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, ABOVE ALL SHE HAD ASKED FOR!

If you are reading this, you may be saying that’s all made up. Truth is it isn’t. You see sometimes, you really want to go somewhere but you know you are unable to get there for whatever the reason may be. You even start wishing certain bad things happen so that it would help to cover up why you couldn’t be there.

But let me tell you this:

SOMEONE IS WATCHING OVER YOU. No, it’s not a fairy godmother, but it is God. God sees all and knows all. He knows you don’t like not being able to do certain things whatever the reason may be. He knows that you get tired of always having to decline or be late…or last. But you NEED to obey what the word of God says in Proverbs 24:27:
Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that build your house. God is not trying to make you be the spokesperson for “I Never Have”. He said in His word that the last shall be first. No one said the road to dominion was easy. It requires hard work, perseverance, and a cheerful attitude. If you keep your eyes and mind on what God has told you to do (cause your situation didn’t tell you what to do; you have control over your situation not the other way around.) you will receive the way Cinderella did, Abraham & Sarah did, Jacob did, Job did, Noah did….Jesus did!
You aren’t the first and you surely won’t be the last when it comes to experiencing trials (tests). Just remember that through it all “whistle while you work”. Meaning praise God in all you do. Let him know that no matter what you will continue to praise him all the way through. Straight until you come through and receive your prince…your Reward!

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who He created you to be.

Love,
Bella Grace

  1. WOW!!! Another great message, and who ever thought The all time favorite Fairy Tale Story Book would ever be shared as message from the WORD. Bella, your message bring light to what it means to do what you’re told, because you never know the out come/reward from someone watching.

Yes GOD sees it all is in Control.

    Thank you Bella.

  2. I had never really thought of it that particular way before. Thank you for opening my eyes to that reality. That’s the beauty of it, finding out how it resembles the Christian experience. Great post and thanks for the follow. Be blessed.

    • Awesome! Thank you and you are definitely welcome! Your About section is truthful and transparent! This is what makes being a believer a wonderful thing. To be in the presence of fellow believers as we stand open to change and renew our minds daily all for him! Continue to be a blessing!

      • And you as well. Yeah telling the whole ugly truth is alot easier than the nights spent frittering away the hurt and previous pains. Keep writing your blog and also be blessed and a blessing to others like me. Thank you.
