Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say that God is so simple!

I was reading a fellow blogger’s post about religion and my comment to what he shared was as simple as this:

“I actually agree with what you are saying. I tell people when asked, I am a believer, then a Christian. Most people are disconnected from believing because it requires more ACTION. Whereby if you walk around saying I am a Christian or even by the name of your “religion” it is much easier because the title seems much fancier. God is so simple, yet we make Him to be so complicated. If only we would stop and just let Him be!”

Like a parent, God gives us the instruction he needs us to have for living a life full of love and life.

• Out of seven days, work six and rest on the seventh.
• Forgive no matter what.
• Love the way I love you.
• Trust in me.

And a few other simple commandments. Yet, we DECIDE to take his words and twist them into our own meaning and then put all the blame on him. At some point we must all be held accountable and responsible for our actions. Whether if you obey the rules or not, you are responsible for your actions. I asked someone yesterday, why is it so hard for us to do right and so easy for us to do wrong…they had no answer. Could it be fear lingering in us that makes us feel like if we don’t do what others are doing the majority won’t approve of us and that will make us nothing? Remember it is not the quantity, but it is the quality. I have learned that less is definitely MORE.

How do you tell the author how his story should go…IT IS HIS STORY NOT YOURS. Stop making things so complicated than what they are and just live in obedience to what God says.

However, the choice is [still] yours…

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who He created you to be.
