Good Morning,
Today’s Message: Let There Be Light
Have you ever heard the following expressions:
“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
“Birds of a feather, flock together”
Well, keep those in mind as you read the next one:
“God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27 NIV
Meditate on that today as you continue to live out your dreams…your purpose. God created this world, including us in six days. ALL OF THIS!!! Well, not cell phones and laptops, and fancy cars, but he did create the animals, the trees, the sky, the water, the land, light, and of course us. God started out in complete darkness, and look at what he did. Right now so many of us may be in that same location…COMPLETE DARKNESS. We can’t tell where we are going, because we can’t see. We feel all alone, because we don’t see anyone else in the place we are. But it’s not about what our two eyes see, it’s about what our two ears hear. What are you listening to? Since the word tells us that we are made in God’s image, and God created all that he did in SIX DAYS…imagine what you can create in SIX DAYS. Not, just create, but BRING TO LIFE…BRING INTO MANIFESTATION.
There is a movie called Field of Dreams that stars Kevin Costner. In this movie, there is a voice that continues to tell the main character “if you build it, he will come.” While the main character’s situation made this voice seem to be a liar, the end of the movie showed that it wasn’t a lie. In life, we tend to want to give up and quit because we don’t see INSTANT RESULTS. No one will support our mission. No one will sow a seed into our dream. No one ever shows up to our events. Let me tell you this…YOU ARE WHO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS. And you should see yourself as a success, not a failure. The only way you become a failure is by giving up and never making it to see the end result. How will you ever know if what God told you to do was true if you abort the dream because of “no one will…”. When God created the world there was no one else there but him in a dark place that he [probably] got tired of and didn’t want to keep complaining about it, so he did something about it. The first thing he did to change the situation was create light, and then he moved from there. Today, I want to encourage you to create light. Get rid of negative thoughts, negative people, negative behavior, negative attitudes, negative space/environments. Once you remove all of the clutter, a light will appear. Once the light is on you will be able to see all you need to see for this day only. Remember whatever you see today, will help tomorrow be better than today. SO LET THERE BE LIGHT, so you can plan for a better tomorrow, to see a BETTER FUTURE. Let there be light!
Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who He created you to be.
Love,
Bella Grace
Thank you Bella for Sharing facts on the following: Negative behavior, our feelings on when we don’t get results that we would like, waiting for a tap on the shoulder, and we are who we see ourselves as. We are our own light.
Continues to S H A R E,
Mary
Well written. One way I remind myself to focus on the Light is to quote Philippians 4:8 ” Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
David
This scripture David is so needed as a daily reminder of ways we can focus on what really matters and how to live our life for who really matters! Keep God first!
